3,500 STORES “SPOT THE CHANGES” CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES

PROMOTION DESCRIPTION:

The Sponsor of this contest is JYSK Canada with offices at 25 King Edward Street, Coquitlam, BC. By participating in the “3,500 Stores Worldwide” contest each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. JYSK Canada is responsible for the collection, submission, or processing of entries and the overall administration of the “3,500 Stores Worldwide” contest. Entrants should look solely to JYSK Canada with any questions, comments, or problems related to the prizes. JYSK Canada may also be reached by email at onlinehelpdesk@jysk.ca during the promotion period. JYSK Canada reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend this “3,500 Stores Worldwide” contest, at its sole discretion, in the event of technical failure, computer virus, unauthorized human intervention, fraud, or any other occurrence or cause beyond the control of JYSK Canada, that corrupts or adversely affects the administration, security, fairness or normal operation of the “3,500 Stores Worldwide” contest.

PROMOTION PERIOD:

This contest runs from Thursday, September 26th, 2024, 12:01 AM PST through to Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024, 11:59 PM PST.

ELIGIBILITY:

Open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province. JYSK Canada and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, vendors, distributors, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies and each of their respective officers, directors and employees, are ineligible to enter the contest or win a prize. Household members, and immediate family members of such individuals are also not eligible to win. “Household members” shall mean those people who share the same residence at least three months a year. “Immediate Family Members” shall mean parents, step-parents, legal guardians, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited and restricted by law.

PRIZES:

One winner will be chosen daily. Participants are eligible to win one prize each day that they submit a contest entry. JYSK Canada reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value if a prize described in these Official Rules is unavailable or cannot be awarded, in whole or in part, for any reason. The value of the prize represents the Sponsor’s good faith determination. That determination is final and binding and cannot be appealed. If the actual value of the prize turns out to be less than the stated value, the difference will not be awarded in cash. JYSK Canada makes no representation or warranty concerning the appearance, safety, or performance of any prize awarded. Restrictions, conditions, and limitations may apply. JYSK Canada will not replace any lost or stolen prize items.

The contest is open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, and prizes will only be awarded and/or delivered to addresses in said locations. Risk of loss and damage to the prize will pass from JYSK Canada to the winner at the time of delivery. All federal, provincial, and local taxes, fees, and surcharges are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Failure to comply with the Official Rules will result in forfeiture of the prize.

There are a total of 7 prizes to be won. Each individual prize consists of one $100 Gift Card. The total value of all prizes is approximately $700.00.

The odds of winning are determined by the number of entrants received each day. There is no maximum number of entries.

There is no regional distribution of prizes.

HOW TO ENTER:

You are not required to purchase or pay a fee in order to participate in the contest.

Enter the contest during the promotion period online by visiting the entry form, which can be found on the following website page: https://www.jysk.ca/spot-the-changes-game.

Automated or robotic entries submitted by individuals or organizations will be disqualified. Internet entry must be made by the Entrant. Any attempt by the Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations, logins, or any other methods, including but not limited to, commercial contest/sweepstake subscription notification and/or entering services, will void Entrants entries and that Entrant may be disqualified. Final eligibility for the award of any prize is subject to eligibility verification as set forth below. All entries must be posted by the end of the Promotion period in order to participate. Sponsor’s database clock will be the official timekeeper for this contest.

WINNER SELECTION:

The winner of this contest will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The random drawing will be conducted within 5 days after the promotion period by JYSK Canada, whose decision is final. Odds of winning will vary depending on the number of eligible Entries received.

WINNER NOTIFICATION:

The winner will be notified by email at the email address provided in the Entry approximately on or before October 2nd, 2024. Potential Winner must accept a prize by email as directed by Sponsor within 48 hours of notification. JYSK Canada is not responsible for any delay or failure to receive notification for any reason, including inactive email account(s), technical difficulties, associated therewith, or Winner’s failure to adequately monitor any email account. Winner(s) will be asked a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question that must be answered correctly, without any assistance, for valid acceptance of prize. Winner(s) will also be required to sign a declaration and release form and provide valid proof (acceptable in JYSK’s discretion) of the winner(s)’ identity, age and residence. Once winners have been notified and have accepted the prize by email, all winners agree to a term of confidentiality until JYSK Canada publicly announces them as winners.

Return of a notice as undeliverable, or failure to comply with these Official Rules, may result in forfeiture of the prize and another eligible entrant will be selected by random draw in accordance with these Official Rules.

PUBLICITY:

Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the JYSK Canada, the contest Sponsor, to use the winner's name, social media handle, likeness and voice for advertising, trade or promotional purposes worldwide in commerce and in any media without limitation or additional compensation unless prohibited by law. The name of the contest prize winner may be published by JYSK Canada following verification of prize winner and at any future date.

CONSENT TO PERSONAL INFORMATION USE AND DISCLOSURE:

By entering the contest, you consent to JYSK’s collection, use, disclosure, and retention of your personal information for the administration of the contest and for JYSK to correspond with you, in JYSK’s discretion, on promotions or offers in relation to your contest entry in accordance with JYSK’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.jysk.ca/spot-changes-terms-and-conditions
